Area artists will again unleash their creative spirit to make unique works of “heArt” to support Big Brothers Big Sisters during the second annual “Have a Heart for Big Brothers Big Sisters” fundraiser.
The Upstairs Artspace has generously agreed to host the Big Brothers Big Sisters Hearts project along with their opening exhibit of 2013. The Upstairs gallery will feature “UPLOAD: Art of the Digital Camera Phone,” one of the nation’s first major exhibitions entirely dedicated to photographs taken with smartphone cameras. The show, curated by Chris Tinkler, opens with a public reception at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19.
