- Aktion Club members spoke to the Tryon Kiwanis Club recently about their club’s plans for community service and president T.J. Acosta’s trip to the national Aktion Club convention. The Aktion Club, chartered July 30, aims to involve adults living with disabilities in projects that benefit the community. The group hopes to hold canned food drives, assist Kiwanis in roadside cleanup, participate in Salvation Army bell ringing and more.
