4-H sewing instructors needed for 2013 program

Published 10:01pm Tuesday, December 4, 2012

Preparations are under way for the 2013 4-H Sewing program.
A free program is being offered to youth ages 9 – 18 that teaches basic sewing skills.  Each student that enrolls is paired with an instructor.
They meet twice a week for eight weeks Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m.  To reach as many young people as we would like we are in need of some additional volunteer teachers.

If you have any sewing experience that you would like to pass on to a child, call the 4-H office at 828-894-8218 for more information about this program.
