Bonnie Marie Lawter Pack, 94, of Green Creek, N.C. passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in Fleshers Health Care Center, Fairview, N.C.

Born Dec. 17, 1917, she was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Magnelly Ruff Lawter of Polk County, and widow of the late Ralph Pack who died in 1979.

She was a native of Polk County and of Baptist faith. She worked as a seamstress several years with Doncaster, Tanner and Jo Lo Companies. She also did private sewing from her home for many years. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts gardening, reading and traveling.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Wilson of Flagler Beach, Fla., Janice Lavert (Roland) of Palm Coast, Fla., and Hazel Jean Woolard (Steve) of Arden, N.C. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Sharon Keeling (Alan), Rhonda Boggs (Lenny), Gregg Weaver, Amy Davis (Brad), Shan Woolard and Jill Villarosa (Sam); six great-grandchildren: Chris Welch, Chel Krvavac (Jugo), Raina Perry, Dallas and Hunter Davis and Emma Villarosa, as well as two great-great grandchildren: Bailey Welch and Lukas Krvavac. She was preceded in death by a son, Duron Pack, who died in 1992, and five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C. with Rev. Gary Lockee and Mr. David Price officiating.

The family received friends Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC, just prior to the service. Burial was held in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC.
