On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Tryon Women’s Golf Association at the Tryon Country Club ended the season with an outstanding luncheon catered by Susanne Sitton in the beautifully decorated Donald Ross room.

All agreed that the committee, chaired by Anne Connolly with the help of Claire Conrad, June Currant, Lynn Chalmers, Heidi Shull, Parky Flanagan,Peg Bolen, and Caroline Brown, outdid themselves.

The new officers for the 2013 season are Joyce Arledge, president; Caroline Brown, vice president; Cynthia Terwilliger, secretary; and Georgeanne Murphy, treasurer.
