Orthodontist Dr. Steve Edney will host his 17th-annual candy buy-back program Thursday, Nov. 1 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. For every pound turned in, kids will get $1.

Every kid that brings in even one piece of candy gets their name entered into a drawing for a new mountain bike. The programs aims to keep gobs of candy from sitting around the house for weeks after Halloween, which entices the kids to eat loads of sugar much more often than needed causing tooth decay.

Dr. Edney’s office is located at 69 Shuford Rd. Columbus. For more information, call 828-696-1662.
