Landrum looks for win against Pendleton in last regular season game

Published 8:57am Friday, October 26, 2012

After two devestating shutouts against Blacksburg Oct. 12 and Crescent Oct. 19, the Landrum High School Cardinals are looking for a win to end their regular season on an up note.
The Cardinals face off against Pendleton High School’s Bulldogs, another of the five teams that with Landrum make up the new 1-2A region.
Pendleton’s record is currently 6-3 for the season so it won’t be an easy win for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals’ however have nothing to lose and everything to gain in putting it all out on the field this Friday night.
LHS’ season currently sits at 3-6, so a win wouldn’t give them a winning season but it might boost team spirits.
The Cardinals take the field at home at 7:30 p.m.
