Community Activities: PTO President, Treasurer and Volunteer Coordinator, Tryon Little Theater Costumer, Board Member and Stage Manager, President Tryon Arts and Crafts, Tryon Arts and Crafts Pottery Instructor, Tryon Elementary and Middle OM Coach, Exceptional Distribution Committee Polk County Community Foundation, Tryon Fine Arts Center Arts in Education Committee, Blue Ridge BBQ Festival.
Qualifications: Wrote and manage a federal grant for Polk County Schools providing 50 part-time jobs and more than $1 million dollars into the local economy, recruit, hire and train staff, secure funds for student and family enrichment programs, working knowledge of state and federal fund management regulations, created partnerships with most area non profits and many local government agencies.
