The steel and bronze trinket box, complete with 90 percent fine coin silver replica of a Spanish silver dollar mysteriously embedded in its lid, will be displayed at the tournament along with others in Myers’ limited collection. The highest bidder chooses any one of the boxes displayed.
The Spanish Silver Dollar, ‘Pexo de Ocho Reales’ or Piece of Eight, was legendary in the days of privateers and pirates. Each textured steel and bronze box has a silver piece securely trapped in its lid, and is one of a limited edition series of six.
