Polk County and the Marjorie M. and Lawrence R. Bradley Endowment Fund were presented certificates of achievement from the U.S. Department of Interior National Parks Service at a ceremony held at Kings Mountain on Oct. 7 for the preservation of Alexander’s Ford. The Polk County Board of Commissioners also on Monday, Oct. 15 presented Ambrose Mills, Alexander’s Ford project manager a certificate in appreciation of his service to the project.
