Irmgard B. Pebler

Irmgard Benkert Pebler, 91, of Columbus passed away Friday morning, Oct. 12, 2012 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Columbus.
Born in Frankfort, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Gregor and Eugenia Friess Benkert and wife of the late George W. Pebler, who died in 1990. Mrs. Pebler came to America in 1923 from Germany. She and her husband moved to Columbus in 1977 coming from Roxbury, N.Y. They were very active in the Polk County 4-H Club.
Surviving are two sons, George G. Pebler of Columbus and Wayne Pebler (Margaret) of Roxbury, N.Y.; one daughter, Bobbi Baker (Jack) of Bay Shore, N.Y. Also surviving are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.
