John Cash holds up a ticket for the Tryon Youth Center car raffle from Franklin McKaig. Cash, who owns and operates Nature’s Storehouse, organizes a bike ride and silent auction each spring to benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Gibbs Cancer Center. The ride begins and ends at Tryon Youth Center. The drawing for the winning raffle ticket will take place Saturday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at the youth center, 2969 Hwy. 176 N in the Pacolet Valley. Tickets will be audited before the drawing. The monies raised from the car raffle, Tryon Youth Center’s annual fundraiser, are for operating expenses.
