Tena Paulette Reid

Tena Paulette Reid, age 65, of Mill Spring, died Thursday, Oct. 4 at Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Mildred Westbrook Fleming. Tena was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren and a dispatcher for Polk County transportation.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin Reid, and wife, Terrie, of Spindale, N.C.; a sister, Jane Blackwell, and husband, Raymond, of Rutherfordton, N.C.; a brother, Randy Randolph, and wife, Janice, of Connecticut; a niece, Amanda Blackwell of Rutherfordton, N.C.; a great-niece, Lily Blackwell of Rutherfordton, N.C. and her former husband, Roland Reid of Landrum.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 6 at Crowe’s Mortuary, with Torrance Randolph officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, N.C. 28043.
