Meet the Candidates event to be held at Saluda Center Oct. 11

The Saluda Center will host a Meet the Candidates event Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. for local candidates.
The event will focus on the candidates for the Polk County Board of Commissioners, but other candidates will also be present.
Those attending the Meet the Candidates event will have the opportunity to ask candidates questions.
Everyone is welcome; there is no charge.
Friday, Oct. 12 is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election. Early voting will begin on Thursday, Oct. 18.
