Polk sheriff’s office weekly report

During the week of Sept. 19 through Sept. 26, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 331 service calls.
Officers made four arrests, including one for injury to personal property, one for breaking and entering, one for communicating threats and one for motor vehicle theft.
Officers issued 25 citations, including 11 for speeding, three for expired registration, three for operating a vehicle with no operator’s license, two for open container in passenger area of motor vehicle, five for infractions and one for an inspection violation.
Officers also served 11 civil papers and conducted 444 church checks, 630 business checks and 116 residential checks. Officers traveled 6,876 miles.
