“Café in Troyes France,” by Saluda artist Jim Carson, is one of the paintings inspired by Carson’s recent three-week plein air painting trip to Paris and the surrounding countryside. He is an experienced and nationally known plein air painter, having been juried into some of the most prestigious plein air festivals in the United States, including Door County, Wisc., Easton, Md. and Richmond, Va.
