Landrum has been on the edge of getting that first victory for weeks now. The Cardinals have been competitive in their last three games and have been in position to win.
That first win for the Cardinals came on Friday night, Sept. 14, on the road against Carolina, 28-18.
It also came under circumstances that might have caused a lot of teams to lose. The Cardinals played the game without starting quarterback Aaron Bryant.
T.J. Fincher, however, was ready for the challenge. The senior ran for two touchdowns and connected with Peyton McCarter for two more touchdowns to lead the Cardinals to victory.
