Draft of UDO available online

The draft of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) is available for public review on the county website at www.polknc.org/departments/development/documents/udo9.17.12draft.pdf.
There are also copies available at the Polk County Library in Columbus and Saluda, or in the county manager’s office in Columbus.
The public hearing for the UDO has been set for Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Bryant Womack Law and Justice Building, Commissioner Chambers, Columbus. Anyone with questions about the UDO or the public hearing, is asked to contact the Polk County Planning Department at 828-894-2732.
