Balloon play at Back to School Bash

Above: Sarenity and Omar Carson play with balloons at the annual Back to School Bash held Saturday, Aug. 11 at Tryon United Methodist Church. The church organized free school supplies for the first 300 kids, in addition to free hot dogs and icees, inflatable slides and other activities. More than 150 families came to the event, 253 backpacks were given away and 60 kids got haircuts.
