Guitar-building workshops
Lichty will teach three more acoustic guitar building workshops in 2012 in Tryon. The workshops will be held Aug. 18-29, Oct. 5- 16 and Dec. 2012 (dates to be determined).
Participants build a guitar from start to finish during the 12-day workshop. Students begin with boards of mahogany and spruce and end with strings on and tunes being played on their own traditional-style dreadnought guitar.
Participation for each small group workshop is limited to four students.
