Polk sheriff’s office weekly report

During the week of July 23 through Aug. 1, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 461 service calls.
Arrests made included one for possession of drug paraphernalia charges, one for injury to personal property charges, one on assault charges, one on charges of B&E of a motor vehicle, one on larceny charges, one on worthless check charges and one on DWI charges.
Citations issued included one for no operator’s license and one infraction.
Officers took 17 incident reports; served 25 civil papers; completed 291 church checks, 562 business checks and 120 residential checks and patrolled 5,259 miles.
