Chick Fil A appreciation day

In regards to the Chik Fil A appreciation day on Aug. 1.
Are there any other parents out there who felt it was inappropriate that at least one church in our area (in Columbus) took their youth group to the Chik Fil A in Hendersonville, N.C. to show their support of heterosexual marriage without explaining to the parents what was going on?
I could not care less what anyone’s opinion is on the subject of gay marriage. I do, however, take exception to my children being used to pad the ranks of Chik Fil A’s “supporters.”
