Polk sheriff’s office weekly report

During the week of July 11 through July 18, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 367 service calls.

Arrest charges included simple assault, trespassing, harassing phone call, larceny of a firearm, manufacturing methamphetamine, failure to appear warrant and damage to property. In addition, one warrant was served for first degree sexual offense, and one order for arrest was served for probation violation.

Citations included one for no operator’s license and one motorcycle helmet violation.

Officers took seven incident reports; served 15 civil papers; completed 327 church checks, 783 business checks and 106 residential checks and patrolled 6,880 miles.
