This photo was taken by Chuck Bishop during a field trip to Roan Mountain during rhododendron time. It is among those that can be seen at the current Carolina Camera Club’s exhibit at Tryon Fine Arts Center’s Gallery I, which has been extended to July 22. The camera club normally meets the third Tuesday of the month at ICC/Polk, but there will be no formal meetings in July and August. However, field trips open to photographers of all levels will be offered this summer. For more information, visit www.carolinacameraclub.org. (photo submitted by Patricia Roshaven)
