    THOSE OF US WHO ARE RETIRED NAVY HERE IN THIS COMMUNITY LOOK WITH GREAT PRIDE ON A PHOTO SUCH AS THIS IN THE TRYON DAILY BULLETIN AND REFLECT BACK OVER TIME. CERTAINLY, WITH ALL THE LOCAL DISGUST FOR US WHEN I WAS SERVING IN COMBAT DURING THE VIET NAM WAR IT IS MARVELOUS TO SEE THE CHANGE TODAY AND FIND A WONDERFUL STORY AND PHOTO HONORING THOSE WHO MAKE LIFE POSSIBLE HERE IN POLK. THANK YOU SAILORS……….FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US!
