Hoots receives Pea Ridge Community Academic Scholarship

Joshua Cameron Hoots, son of Josh and Destiny Hoots, has been named the 2012 Pea Ridge Community

Academic Scholarship recipient. Hoots will graduate from Polk  County High School (PCHS) in June and plans to attend Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville.
Hoots has been active in the youth group at Pea Ridge Baptist Church and participated in the FFA and FCA clubs, as well as playing on the PCHS baseball team. He works as a waiter at Tryon Estates in his spare time.
The Pea Ridge Community Club presents a $500 academic scholarship each year to a graduating senior from the Pea Ridge community.
