Clay Maier offers Long reining clinic Nov. 18-19

Clay Maier will offer a long reining program Nov. 18-19 at Dark Knight Stables in Landrum. The program will cover the three aids of long reining – the hands, voice and whip.
There will be exercises demonstrated to improve everyone’s reinmanship for a soft horses’ mouth and nice topline. Developing a long-term plan with long reins and how and when to use the lateral movements will also be covered in the clinic.
All equipment will be provided for at the clinic for participants.  Auditors are welcome. Dark Knight Stables is located at 701 Tugaloo Rd. in Landrum. To register for the clinic, call 864-243-6997 or email michelle@darkknightstables.com.
