Polk football tops Madison

The Polk County Wolverines toppled the previously undefeated Madison Patriots 32-14 Friday, Sept. 16.

In the process, quarterback Alec Philpott set a new school record 6-6 passing for 189 yards and one touchdown. This includes an 85-yard touchdown pass to Joel Booker.

Polk’s defense also came out strong on the evening with eight sacks on the Madison QB.
